This works for the Xbox 360 consloe. I used it to plug a regular headset to the controller and be able to use it as microphone on Guitar Hero and on MSN voice messages.
You\'ll still need an stereo-to-mono splitter if you want to use it (because of the way the Xbox 360 is designed), one channel is for the headphone and the other for the microphone.
